my present position is professor of Physics at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, Italy (www.dismi.unimore.it/index.php?q=en/bisi).

I wrote a popular science book to be published under the Sironi Editore imprint next October, in collaboration with CNR, the Italian National Council for Research. The book is titled “Visible and Invisible”, and it is an educational project about light, aimed at young readers as well as the broad public. It will be printed in colour and illustrated with pictures and drawings.

I therefore ask you the permission to use in my book a high definition version of your image on the bubbles of oxygen in water, posted on February 9, 2009 (link: http://helpmyphysics.co.uk/wordpress/?m=200902). If you agree, please tell me the full credits and I’ll make sure they appear in the book.
Thank you very much for your kind attention.

    Best regards,
    Olmes Bisi

Found your site via Conn Morris’s Learning Catalogue in GLOW Office 365 Sharepoint. What an awesome resource you’ve created! Love it – even found myself scribbling a solution to the parascender question after nearly 20 years away from Physics! Currently working within central GLOW team looking at support & dev for O365. Would love to hear your thoughts – you’ll find me in O365 or you can drop me an email.
    All the best,
    Neil

Your website is fabulous! It has really helped with my physics however might I suggest you replace Newton the Dog with Pascal the Parrot. Just a thought.
    Regards,
    Humphrey

  12. Mr Mallon says:

What a smashing name… Pascal the Parrot… get me a parrot.

  13. Deep Chita says:

Thank you for creating your fantastic website to help with understanding physics, I am finding it useful in preparation for the exam in May.

Would you please provide suggested model answers for example open ended questions for Higher Physics as the mark schemes provided by the SQA do not give any answers for these.

    This would be really helpful.

    Many thanks ,

    Deep

    Hello Mr Mallon,

I wonder if it would be possible to put a link of your website on to my schools website at Larbert High School in Falkirk.
I have put a lot of materials into the Physics section of our website which may be useful to you and can be viewed on http://www.larberthigh.com

    Cheers
    Brian McMullen

    Hi

I sent over an email for some physics help and was wondering if you could guide me through the working for the kinematics equation sheet (questions 9 and 12), really struggling with these questions.

Also want to thank you for your content, it is so helpful.

    THANK YOU
This is what I believe a world-class Teacher is! – someone, who can make this difficult and abstract subject so accessible. Be blessed!
